Holiday Glam

I created this look because I love to get super glam during the holiday…well not that I don’t go full on glam any other day BUT the holidays make me want to add that extra SPARKLE.  I used the Lorac Mega Pro Palette2  (2015 Holiday Edition) for this festive look.  I also gave you two different lip options to choose from for those of you who don’t like a bold lip.

L’Oréal True Match in Sun Beige (W6)

Mac Pro Longwear Concealer in NC20 mixed with Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in Sand

Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer

Too Faced Blush in Who’s Your Poppy?

Laura Gellar Gilded Honey and Becca Cosmetics Opal for highlight

Burlap and Tawny as a transition color

Cabernet and Goji in the crease with Black to give more depth to the look

Penny all over eyelid and Gold Leaf in the center of the lid (I intensified Gold Leaf by spraying Mac Fix+ on my brush to give it a more metallic look.)

Custard and Bisque as Brow highlight

Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Dark Brown in the waterline

Repeat all colors on lower lash line to bring the eye together

KoKo Lashes in Goddess

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow and Brow Wiz in Dark Brown

Option 1: ColourPop Cosmetics Ultra Matte Lip in Avenue (Deep Red)

Option 2: ColourPop Cosmetics Ultra Matte Lip in Bumble and Platform (Pinky Nude)

Always remember that the holidays are not about “things” but about enjoying life and spending time with the ones you love; many of us aren’t fortunate enough to do so. The greatest memories are the ones we never intended to make. So this holiday season, please hug, kiss, cry, laugh, annoy, and most of all cherish every moment you have with your friends and family!

Surrounding yourself with endless love and laughter will only bring out the very best in you!

Happy Holidays from my family to yours!!!

Easy and Affordable Holiday Look

For this look, I based it off of the BH Cosmetics Smokey Eye – 28 Color Eyeshadow Palette.  The sale price now is $9.50!! 🙂  Every product that I have tried from BH is amazing.  If you are looking for affordable makeup, definitely give them a try.

Here is the look I came up with:

Foundation: Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin Foundation applied with a damp Real Techniques Sponge

Concealer:  Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Concealer & Maybelline Fit Me Concealer  – used to conceal and highlight under eyes, middle of forehead, bridge of the nose, and chin.

Contour: Kat Von D Shade + Light Palette

Highlight:  Becca Cosmetics Opal and Champagne Pop

**Always prime your eyes with some sort of eyeshadow primer, any brand will work.  This will ensure your shadows stay on all day and won’t blend into one another as the day goes on.

  1. Use both shades as a transition color – very lightly applied right above the crease in windshield wiper motion. Make sure there are no harsh lines by blending the color out. Do not take it too high on the brow bone or close to the eyebrows.
  2. Use this reddish pink shade and place all over eyelid.  You can use either Mac Fix+ or eye drops to wet your brush to intensify the color if desired.
  3. Use the purple shade to place in the outer “V” of eye and all throughout the crease. Make sure to blend the color into the transition color already placed above the crease. Continue to pack on color and blend it out. The key to a seamless look is to blend!!!

Once eyeshadow is done, add liner of your choice and false lashes.

Liner: NYC Liquid Liner

Lashes: Salon Perfect in #615

Eyebrows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brown in Dark Brown

Liner: NYX Lip Pencil in Peek-a-Boo Natural

Lipstick: The Balm Meet Matte Hughes Liquid Lipstick in Committed and Buxom Lip Gloss

Hope you like this look!
